Midnight Club: Los Angeles is HORRIBLE?

So I have Midnight Club: LA (XBOX 360.) The game is absolutely HORRIBLE. It has a horrible selection of cars and voice-overs. Plus there is no fun or entertainment value in it at all. But here is what really makes me mad: I have to race a guy near the beginning of the game that has a grey 69′ Camero. I HAVE THE EXACT SAME CAR. But somehow he is always faster then I am. He hits every short-cut and goes around turns going 200 MPH. Every time I get ahead of him he automatically boosts or something going what I have calculated to be at least 210 MPH. When the race starts he flys ahead of me and nearly disappears. If I P.I.T. or spin him and he crashes he always wins anyway. I get 2000 feet ahead of him and he magically boosts or appears in front of me. I HAVE PLAYED THE “SERIES” FOR NEARLY 3 HOURS TRYING TO WIN BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. IT IS A HORRIBLE GAME. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

No I do not suck. This game does.
