Me and this guy have been going out for 1 year. but like a 3 or more months ago he bought a car, he started going to clubs and gettin home like around 5 or 6 in the morning and i didnt like that, so i told him to stop and he didnt then it wasnt just clubs it was everywhere they invited him so then he would come home to eat and go the next day to work, but on weekends he would be out really late. I got sick and tired so i broke up with him. It been like 2 or 3 weeks we broke up but we still talk and see each other but now my family completely hates him. He tells me that hes going to change, he has swore alot of time, he’s even willing to sell his car. He wants to get an apartment for both of us he told me he is gong to change completely. Now the BIG Problem is my FAMILY. Should i go out with him again and go against my family or what should i do. I really love this guy but i love my family too. So am really confused. Please help me!!!!! ;(

    Do what you feel is right and best for you. If your family loves you they will respect your choice and support you.

    I’m having a similar problem in that some members of my family don’t like my fiance. I was really upset about it until I decided something. I am no longer going to live my life based on other people’s opinion. They aren’t the ones living it. This is my life, and I’m old enough to make my own decisions.

    GO back with him AFTER he changes.After he sells the car,gets a job,gets an apartment.
    Stick with your family for now.

    What’s the big deal, so he goes to bars and comes home late on the weekend - HELLLLO - most people are like that. Why should you care what your family thinks - its your life, it sounds like its time to grow up and take control of your life.
    He just got a car, are you in high school?
